VENAMOD - Vipers farm

Venamod has as primary activity the growth and reproduction of vipers from species „ammodytes ammodytes” (horned viper) for production, collection and recovery of venom for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics purposes.

Venamod works in accordance with current legal regulations with Tax Registration Certificate at the National Trade Register Office of the Ministry of Justice and Civil Liberties in Romania.

Venamod operates under the provisions of Government Ordinance No. 42/2004 approved and amended by Law No. 215/2004 with sanitary-veterinary operating permit issued under the conditions imposed by the County Sanitary-Veterinary GORJ.

Venamod has an animal bio-base with special exemplary young and well cared who live and grow in optima climatic conditions and hygiene.

Venamod’s activity takes place In a space adapted to the conditions imposed by the rules in force with an area of ​​1300 square meters ground, space that meets all of the growth factors of vipers in captivity.

Venamod has a quality product which is harvested under sterile conditions in the laboratory unit arranged inside of unit that meet the requirements in the field . So the product obtained is transferred to laboratory research and development at the national institute for microbiology and immunology "Ion Cantacuzino" for freeze drying process that takes place under the careful observation of biochemist Dr. Beatrice Burghelea.

After lyophilization the product is subjected to an analysis in terms of organoleptic, fizicochimc and protein profile in the National Research Institute for Chemical-Pharmaceutical Bucharest by doctor Radu Albulescu biochemist.
